What exactly does the adoption fee include?
Simply put, it helps offset the average medical expenses for a dog. On a regular basis, we spend around $500 to $1000 on each puppy or dog. This covers their essential medical needs like health check-ups, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tests, preventive treatments, spaying or neutering, and microchipping. But the adoption fee doesn’t cover all of these costs entirely. The support we get from our community by sharing our dogs’ stories and contributing financially is still incredibly important for us to keep succeeding and rescuing more dogs.
