At PawHoster, our mission is to Rescue abandoned dogs, Heal those in need, and Rehome them into loving families. We foster education and spark conversations that inspire positive change in animal welfare.

Our vision is to create a community where individuals feel empowered to challenge the norm. We aim to support families and provide them with the assistance of fellow animal advocates during difficult times. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that every animal finds a safe and loving home, where they can experience security and care.

PawHoster’s Mission

PawHoster, founded in 2024 in Wyoming, began with a small group of passionate individuals dedicated to rescuing animals in need. From rescuing a handful of pets, our mission has expanded to save countless animals across the state. We focus on those facing the toughest challenges—whether abandoned, injured, or displaced through no fault of their own. Every animal deserves a human voice to advocate for their well-being.

Wyoming, like many areas, faces challenges with animal welfare, and PawHoster is committed to addressing these issues. Although change takes time, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made in rescuing and caring for animals in need. Rescue is never easy; we’ve seen the harsh realities that animals endure. Whether it’s rescuing injured animals from the streets or standing up for their rights, PawHoster’s commitment is all in.

As a foster-based rescue, PawHoster doesn’t operate a physical facility but relies on a network of compassionate foster families across Wyoming. These individuals provide vital care, rehabilitation, and love, offering every animal the best chance at a forever home. With the support of our community, PawHoster continues to be a voice for the voiceless, working to improve animal welfare and create a brighter future for all animals in need.

HOW IT HAPPENS

Each day is different. Some dogs we rescue are so desperate to be loved they readily jump into our arms and do not look back. Others are more hesitant. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to earn their trust, these dogs are gradually won over. Regardless of how or when they officially become a Pawhoster rescue dog, the relieved, ecstatic, or simply exhausted expression on their sweet face during their freedom ride makes a rescue day the best day ever.
